I've never really got clear line before, it always seemed to me too much like colouring in. I've always tried to make some kind of unity of line and colour and shape in my pictures, but I'm starting to get it a lot more. If anything I think you have to be more careful with line when it defines shape and texture. This is a clear line moose wearing a button up shirt.
